INTRO

This proposal is for the creation of a presentation video for the Digital Wellbeing Week.

The video will bring fresh and exciting insight into some of the challenges faced by local authorities and the communities, and showcase how technology can help to tackle those challenges by improving the quality of services and saving money.

Watching this video both local authorities and the general public will gain an understanding of the technology and how this can have a positive impact on the quality of the services they deliver and on their lives.

The project will be designed to allow the repurposing of its content for the creation of different videos for other distribution channels, like social media.

GOALS

• Showcase the challenges faced by local authorities in delivering services to their community, providing real life examples and showing how they affect people’s lives.

• Explain IoT in simple terms and how IoT can help organisations to improve the delivery of their services.

• Showcase real life examples of how IoT can be used to solve these challenges.

THE PRODUCTION PLAN

The video will be shot on location, during a 1-2 days sessions. It will comprise shots of a main speaker delivering the content and B-Roll shots to complement the main content and help to tell the story.

Possible locations will be:

1. A location near Lakeside.

2. A waste disposal site.

3. A street with controlled parking.

4. Leatherland Lodge Home.

POST PRODUCTION

The post-production will include:

1. Editing

2. Sound Design

3. Colour Correction and Colour Grading

4. Text Animation and Graphics

5. Motion Graphics for the IoT explanation

6. Originally composed royalty-free sound track

7. Final Rendering

 FINAL DELIVERABLE

• The final deliverable of this project will be a video 3-4 minutes of length.

• The file will be available in HD format (H.264 codec), suitable for distribution via social media, website, and to be viewed on computers (Mac and Windows platforms).

• The content can be repurposed for alternative productions (like shorter videos for social platforms).

The proposals we create are one price. That way there is no surprises or randomly increased costs. Additional changes, modifications or additions will be discussed on a case by case basis.

Expenses (for travel, accommodation, etc.) are not included.
